Short Day Onion Plants

Available November 11, 2024—April 6, 2025

The short day onion varieties start the bulbing process when daylight length reaches 10-12 hours. They take approximately 110 days to mature in the south and just 75 days in the north. The earlier you plant them, the larger they get, but they won't get very big in the northern states. All short day onion varieties are sweet except the Red Creole, which is a great short day storage onion.

Each bunch contains a minimum of four dozen plants. Onion plant varieties can be mixed when determining total price of bunches. Each order cannot be split to ship to multiple addresses. After 30 bunches, the pricing starts over.
